Picking Winners for Week 7 in the NFL (and Who's the Worst Team in the NFL)

Thought for today...

Walmart is not the only saving place!

We are now a third of the way through the regular season. We know who the really good teams are, but who's the worst team in the NFL? If you go purely on record, we only have two winless teams. They are the Chargers and Dolphins. We expected close to this out of the Dolphins, but the Chargers? No way did anyone think they would be 0-6 at this point. I'm not sure which team is worse. The Dolphins have next to no offense. The Chargers have no offense at all. The Chargers defense has been below average but so has the Dolphins defense. You almost have to flip a coin. We get to settle this on the field, but we have to wait for them to play each other on December 27th. Until then, I'll go with the Dolphins as the worst.

Here's how I see the games going this week with comments on some of the games.

New England Patriots at Chicago Bears Chicago, and they won.

Pittsburgh Steelers at New Orleans Saints in France Pittsburgh.

San Francisco 49ers at Atlanta Falcons San Francisco. I smell an upset, but I'm not picking it.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers Carolina. Baker Mayfield is likely back, but it might not matter.

Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens Baltimore. This game is simple for me regarding who I will pick. If Lamar Jackson plays, I'll take the Ravens. If not, I think the Bengals are in a strong position to take it. It seems like Lamar might play, so I'll take the Ravens and stick to it.

New York Giants at Houston Texans Houston. J. J. McCarthy will start for the Giants. He played a great 4th quarter for them last week, but this game in Houston will be a much tougher challenge.

Indianapolis Colts at Minnesota Vikings Minnesota. The Vikings keep winning with defense. Does Daniel Jones give you any hope that will change? Not really.

Cleveland Browns at Tennessee Titans Cleveland. I think the Browns have led a charmed life. I suppose the charm will continue since the Titans usually play very badly at home. First team to 17 points wins!

Miami Dolphins at New York Jets New York Jets. First team to 13 points wins!

Denver Broncos at Arizona Cardinals Denver.

Los Angeles Rams at Las Vegas Raiders Los Angeles Rams. This game could be the last gasp for the Rams to turn around their fleeting season.

Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions Detroit. I really don't know. I THINK the Packers lack of a rush will allow the Lions to move up and down the field.

Kansas City Chiefs at Seattle Seahawks Seattle. The Seahawks defense at home might be just a little too much for the Chiefs, but it really is a toss up game.

Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles Dallas. The Eagles usually beat the Cowboys in Philly, but this is a bunch of flightless birds.

May God always be your number 1 draft pick!

Thought for today... I don't know why some people change churches. What difference does it make which one they stay home from? This week brings a warning. Beware of the underdog! If you are a good NFL

The Holy Trinity is the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. We have a trinity of undefeated and untied teams in the NFC. They aren't holy, but they do feel blessed to have not lost a game through four

Picking Winners for Week 4 in the NFL

We are down to only five undefeated teams in the NFL after only three weeks. They are the Vikings, 49ers, Bills, Chiefs and Raiders. Raiders? Yes, the Raiders. I'll go out on a limb and say the 1972 M
