Picking Winners for Week 2 in the NFL

God has indeed made summer and winter. Also, I’m glad He made fall for cooler weather and football! Here is how I see the games this week going with comments on some of the games.

Detroit Lions at Buffalo Bills Buffalo, and they won.

Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons Carolina. The Panthers got hammered last week by the Bears, but they scored over 30 points. I don't think the Falcons can match that many points with Cooper Rush at quarterback.

Philadelphia Eagles at Tennessee Titans Philadelphia. Will the Titans score in this game? Yeah, probably... maybe... maybe not.

Green Bay Packers at New York Jets Green Bay. I really want to pick the Jets in this game because I don't like the vibe from the Packers who blew a huge lead last week to the Vikings. I'm chickening out, but I could very well regret it.

Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears Chicago. I don't think the Vikings can keep up scoring with the Bears, but it will be fun watching Brian Flores try to blitz the daylights out of Caleb Williams.

Pittsburgh Steelers at New England Patriots New England. Aaron Rodgers will face the solid Patriots defense and not be able to do much with it.

Cincinnati Bengals at Houston Texans Houston. If Joe Burrow thought his back was stiff after playing the Buccaneers, wait till he gets done with the angry Texans defense. Burrow is capable of winning the game. He is also capable of getting a body part blown out in this game.

Cleveland Browns at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tampa Bay.

New Orleans Saints at Baltimore Ravens Baltimore. The NFL didn’t do the Saints any favors by scheduling them to play road games at Detroit and Baltimore in the first two weeks of the season. I think the Saints are pretty good, but a lot of good teams would start 0-2 at those two venues.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Denver Broncos Denver. You have as good of a chance at picking this game correctly as I do. Either the Jaguars will continue their high flying offense and outscore the Broncos, like they did last year, or the Broncos will put a whipping on the Jaguars because of how angry they will be after getting embarrassed by the Chiefs last week, I have no idea which will happen, so I'll just take the home team.

Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Chargers Los Angeles Chargers. I just don’t think the Chargers are as bad as they looked against the Cardinals in Week 1. Ladd McConkey might not play, but I have to think they can beat the Raiders at home.

Washington Commanders at Dallas Cowboys Dallas. Everyone is picking Dallas, and I will, too, but it’s not a forgone conclusion. Jayden Daniels can get hot about every other game.

Miami Dolphins at San Francisco 49ers San Francisco.

Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals Seattle. I think the Seahawks will have to play one of their best defensive games to pull this one out. I expect a close game. The Cardinals are a very decent team.

Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs Kansas City. The Chiefs should win unless they have a letdown after their big opening win against the Broncos. The Chiefs seem to always play on the edge in those situations, so expect a nail-biter of a game.

New York Giants at Los Angeles Rams Los Angeles Rams. Last week, the Giants looked great, and the Rams looked awful. I don’t expect the Rams to look awful again. Puka Nacua might not play. If not, the game should go down to the wire.
