Picking Winners for Week 2 in the NFL

Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Kansas City.

New England at Pittsburgh New England. I saw very little offense from the Patriots in Miami last week. For that matter, I saw very little offense from the Steelers in Cincinnati, and it took four interceptions from Joe Burrow to allow the Steelers to escape with a win. I'll take the hungrier team in this one.

Miami at Baltimore Baltimore. The Dolphins will have a hard time matching the offense that Lamar Jackson will put up.

Indianapolis at Jacksonville Indianapolis. I wouldn't bet a plug nickel on the Colts winning on the road. I wouldn't bet a plug nickel on Jacksonville winning at home. Flip a plug nickel... Colts.

New York Jets at Cleveland Cleveland. It will be a struggle, but I think the Browns will have just enough at home to get it done.

Tampa Bay at New Orleans Tampa Bay. Doesn't Tom Brady have to beat the Saints in the regular season at some point? I'll give him one more shot.

Carolina at New York Giants New York Giants. McCaffrey versus Barkley. Should be a good one. I'll take the Giants to play enough defense to win it.

Washington at Detroit Detroit. The Lions have played teams tough toward the end of last year and in Week 1. I think they get it done this week.

Atlanta at Los Angeles Rams Los Angeles Rams. The Rams are favored by a lot. I think they will win by a little.

Seattle at San Francisco San Francisco. The49ers are favored by a lot. I think they will win by a lot.

Cincinnati at Dallas Cincinnati. Hammer time without Dak Prescott!

Arizona at Las Vegas Las Vegas. I just don't think the Cardinals are very good at all.

Houston at Denver Denver. Honk if you think the Broncos lose this one at home after throwing away a game in Seattle last week. The silence is deafening.

Chicago at Green Bay Green Bay. If the Bears go into Lambeau and beat the Packers, I'll be a monkey's uncle.

Tennessee at Buffalo Buffalo. The Bills are proving a point in a big way.

Minnesota at Philadelphia Minnesota. I know Kirk Cousins stinks in Prime Time games, but the Vikings are just better than the Eagles.

May God always be your number 1 draft pick!
