Did Tyler Robinson kill Charlie Kirk? A lot of people say no. They say Israel did it or had it done. I know the FBI has some of the smartest people in the world, and I know a whole ton of them are investigating this case. If Tyler Robinson didn't kill Charlie Kirk, those people will figure it out. But, here's what's going to happen. Robinson will go on trial. The evidence against him will be so ironclad that a jury of 12 people will find him guilty, and he will spend the rest of his life in prison. That's my opinion. I can hear the conspiracy theorists already. They will say someone bought off the jury or covered things up. Come on, people! Can reasonable people say that Robinson didn't kill Kirk? I think so, but it's a stretch in my opinion, and I'm basing my opinion on the texts he had with his friend on that day which I think overrides any other factors, including the fact that the business packed up and left that he went to shortly after the shooting. I really think that if there is a shred of evidence that he's not guilty, then the jury will not convict him. That's what I believe. All I can tell you is wait and see.
Does Candace Owens believe what she says, or does she say what she says to get podcast clicks (money)? She has said someone on the inside of Charlie Kirk's organization, Turning Point USA, killed Kirk. Some people have even said Erika Kirk had something to do with it. I think Owens mostly believes what she says, but I also think she can be off-base at times. I do think there is a small chance that she knows good and well what she is saying is likely not true and says it anyway to keep her audience coming back. HOWEVER, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt based on her past positive Christian influence. She seems to be a rather devout Christian at that. She is passionate and seems to do her homework. Either way, regarding whether SOME of the stuff she SAYS is true, I think she has lost her way. I do not think anyone in Kirk's organization killed him. Nope. I don't believe it. What is the old saying? Trust but verify. Don't just take Owens' word on things. Be somewhat skeptical and think for yourself on whether it is likely true or whether the odds of it actually being true are so small you couldn't calculate it with a supercomputer!
What does the Bible say about Israel? I've heard many, many people say that Israel was behind the killing of Charlie Kirk. People say Charlie Kirk was against Israel or at least started to be against Israel, so they did him in. Kirk was not against Israel. You have to look at his body of work. I do not see how reasonable people come to the conclusion that Kirk was against Israel. Israel didn't kill Charlie Kirk. No, they didn't. That's my strong opinion.
Christians want to be on the side of Israel because the Bible says Israel is God's people, and Christians believe the Bible is the unerring word of God. If you don't believe the Bible is absolutely true, then I have no reason to have any other discussions with you. You can stop reading because there's no point in me having a discussion with you. However, Tucker Carlson and many Christians seem to be against Israel regarding their conflict with Hamas in Gaza. Carlson went off the deep end and eventually got fired by Fox News about the time he changed positions on the United States going into Iraq. He was originally for the USA going in, but he changed his mind and is now against all wars. He hates war, and it surely seems that he is against ANY war whether it's Israel going into Gaza or whatever. He's right in the middle of a lot of anti-Israel stuff now which includes a lot of conspiracy theories that have no basis in facts. Many Christians say the leaders of Israel and the Israel military is not the same as the people of Israel. They say it's the people of Israel who God is for, not the leaders. I'm here to tell you that's simply not true according to what's in the Bible. Romans 13:1: "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God." Look at what God does time and time again. If the people are good, but the king is bad, God says Israel is doing badly. If the people are bad, but the king is good, God says Israel is good. The Bible says God puts the kings/leaders in their positions. That means he put Benjamin Netanyahu in his place of leadership. Don't say He didn't. The Bible says He did. 1 Chronicles 21:1–14: When King David sinned by numbering the people, the judgment fell on the entire nation: "So the LORD sent pestilence upon Israel: and there fell of Israel seventy thousand men." Does it sound like God separated the leader from the people? No, it doesn't. You just can't separate the Israeli people from the Israeli government. That's not how the Bible does it. He might punish Israel if they do bad things, but he always restores them. Deuteronomy 7:6: "For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are on the face of the earth." And, Psalm 135:4: "For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure." Does this sound like the literal Israel nation or some spiritual or partial thing? And, in case some might think things have changed since Jesus came to earth... Romans 11:1–2: "I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid... God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew." Does it sound like this is still in effect today? Romans is obviously in the New Testament. Now, let's consider what happens to people who are not on Israel's side. Genesis 12:3: "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." The Bible clearly says if you are against Israel, you will be cursed, and if you are with Israel, you will be blessed. If that's true and it's also true that you can't separate the Israeli people from the Israeli government, then Christians better be careful saying they don't support Israel's government. You do NOT want to be on the wrong side of God!
Is what Israel doing in Gaza overkill? After all, Hamas killed a few thousand people while Israel has gone in and killed many times more people. Some people might say it's genocide and have turned against Israel. I'd say yeah, it's overkill, but look at what happens in the Bible. What does God tell the Israelites to do to their enemies when they go to war? The answer is to annihilate the enemies! Basically, He tells Israel to not even leave an animal unharmed. Deuteronomy 20:16–17: "But of the cities of these people... thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth: But thou shalt utterly destroy them... as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee." 1 Samuel 15:3: God’s command to Saul regarding the Amalekites: "Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass." Joshua 6:21: At Jericho: "And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword." If Israel is in a war, it's utter destruction directed by God. Once again, don't go against what God says in the Bible. You don't want to be on the wrong side.
In summary, Don't be against Israel, and you can't separate the Israeli people from the Israeli leaders. I really think the vast majority of people who continue to listen to Candace Owens are well-meaning people, good Christian people. But, if Owens, Carlson or anyone else starts saying things that are controversial, don't just blindly trust them. Some of it might be true. Some of it might not be. The best thing to do is open the Bible and see what it has to say about it, and don't dare go against what it says!
