Verse for today...
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. Proverbs 16:32
Upsets will occur this week. The mighty will fall in some of these games. Here are my winners for this week with comments on some of the games.
Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills Buffalo, and they won.
Los Angeles Rams at Philadelphia Eagles Philadelphia. Don't be surprised if the Rams win, but I'll take the Eagles... barely.
Green Bay Packers at Cleveland Browns Green Bay.
New York Jets at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tampa Bay.
Las Vegas Raiders at Washington Commanders Washington. Jayden Daniels won't play. That evens out the odds a bit, but I'll still go with the home team.
Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers Atlanta.
Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans Indianapolis. The Colts are wipe for an upset, but their relative experience might prevail in a close one.
Pittsburgh Steelers at New England Patriots Pittsburgh. This is the toughest game of the week for me to pick. It's hard to run the ball on the Patriots. I should go ahead and pick them, but I won't.
Cincinnati Bengals at Minnesota Vikings Minnesota. This is the battle of the backup quarterbacks.
Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars Houston. The Texans have too much talent to keep losing. They are underdogs in this game, but I think they will pull off the upset.
Denver Broncos at Los Angeles Chargers Los Angeles Chargers.
New Orleans Saints at Seattle Seahawks Seattle.
Dallas Cowboys at Chicago Bears Chicago. Dallas should win, but that's exactly when they most often lose.
Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers San Francisco.
Kansas City Chiefs at New York Giants Kansas City.
Detroit Lions at Baltimore Ravens Baltimore. The Ravens will be too much at home.
May God always be your number 1 draft pick!
