Picking Winners for Week 18 in the NFL

Thought for today...

If you would just hush up, you could hear God's voice!

Kansas City at Denver Kansas City.

Dallas at Philadelphia Dallas.

Tennessee at Houston Tennessee. The Titans must have this game or fall out of the top seed in the AFC. Since the Texans are playing decent football, it might not come easy, but the Titans should win it.

Pittsburgh at Baltimore Baltimore. Big Ben's miracles have almost all come at home this year. He's out of miracles and can ride off into retirement with the Steelers having a non-losing record... barely. The Ravens have come up a tiny bit short in a lot of games this year, but that should change today.

Indianapolis at Jacksonville Indianapolis. Will someone please shoot the Jaguars and put them out of their misery?

Cincinnati at Cleveland Cleveland. The Bengals are not playing Joe Burrow or Joe Mixon. In fact, they are playing a bunch of regular Joe's, so they are likely to lose this one to the Browns who won't miss much playing Case Keenum in place of Baker Mayfield.

Green Bay at Detroit Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers wants to play. He shouldn't because of the risk of aggravating his toe injury, but the Packers' brass do not have the nerve to sit him. So, he will play and beat the Lions... if his toe doesn't fall off.

Washington at New York Giants Washington. Will someone please shoot the Giants and get them out of their misery?

Chicago at Minnesota Minnesota. This will likely be a close game. The Vikings should win this one despite Kirk Cousins returning more to his norm for most seasons by throwing for six interceptions in this game.

New York Jets at Buffalo Buffalo. Will someone please shoot the Jets and... you know the rest.

New England at Miami New England. Strange things happen to the Patriots once per year when they play the Dolphins. Wait, that already happened the first game of the year. The Dolphins won't beat them twice in the same season, will they?

Carolina at Tampa Bay Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers could possibly move up to the number 2 seed in the NFC with a win. That's enough motivation.

San Francisco at Los Angeles Rams Los Angeles Rams. The 49ers seem to have the Rams number only losing once over the last several games, and the 49ers are playing to get into the playoffs. I just don't think it will be quite enough. Expect a very close game.

New Orleans at Atlanta New Orleans. The Saints must win to have any chance of the playoffs. Their defense might play just well enough to get them a win.

Seattle at Arizona Arizona. The Seahawks seem to be a popular pick to beat the Cardinals this week. I just don't see it.

Los Angeles Chargers at Las Vegas Los Angeles Chargers. Win and in for this game. Chargers are eliminated with a loss, and the Raiders would likely be eliminated with a loss. That should make for a very fun game to watch. The Raiders have overcome lots of obstacles this year. They will give it the old college try but likely come up a point or two short.
