Here are my picks for this week in the NFL.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns Pittsburgh, but they lost.
Dallas Cowboys at Washington Commanders Washington. This shouldn't be much of a contest, but these teams are rivals. That means it could be closer than we think.
Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears Minnesota. The Vikings love to blitz, so a key to this game is how fast Caleb Williams can read the defense and get rid of the ball. I have the feeling it won't quite be fast enough.
Detroit Lions at Indianapolis Colts Detroit. I know some people in the media, like Colin Cowherd, are predicting the Colts will win. Why? I don't know. The Lions have given no indication whatsoever of letting up. They are hammering people from pillar to post. Can the Colts outscore the Lions? I just don't see it at all!
Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans Houston. The Texans handled the Cowboys easily on the road last week. They should have too much offense for the Titans to match this week.
Kansas City Chiefs at Carolina Panthers Kansas City. The Chiefs are the better football team, and they will be angry after losing to the Bills last week.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New York Giants Tampa Bay. The Giants have benched Daniel Jones and are starting Tommy DeVito. DeVito led them to a couple of wins when he got the chance to play a year or two ago. He might allow the Giants to stay in this game, but I doubt he leads them to a win.
New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins Miami. Drake Maye has played very well for a rookie quarterback, but I think the Dolphins will have too much offense for the Patriots to keep up.
Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders Denver. The Broncos are playing solid football. Nothing spectacular, just solid! If they continue to play that way this Sunday, they should win a close game.
San Francisco 49ers at Green Bay Packers Green Bay. No Brock Purdy and no Nick Bosa for the 49ers likely means no win at Green Bay.
Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks Arizona. This is the toughest game for me to pick this week. It could go either way, but the Cardinals seem to have a little more momentum.
Philadelphia Eagles at Los Angeles Rams Philadelphia. This should be a good game. The Eagles have the better personnel. If they don't turn the ball over too much, they should win.
Baltimore Ravens at Los Angeles Chargers Baltimore. This is the Harbaugh Bowl. It's older brother against younger brother. Baltimore's John got the better of Jim in the Super Bowl played in February, 2013. That was a three point game, and I think this one could be just as close. I expect Lamar Jackson to play well and outscore the Chargers. Chalk up another one for the older brother, John.
May God always be your number 1 draft pick!
