Verse for today...
Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken. Psalm 55:22
The Eagles beat the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. The biggest reason by far was the domination of the Eagles defensive line against the offensive line of the Chiefs. The Eagles line was all over Patrick Mahomes. The pressure didn't allow him to get in any kind of rhythm whatsoever until near the end of the 3rd quarter. By then, it was much too late.
The Eagles deserved to win. The referees didn't decide it. The Eagles were the better team on that day. A loss like this for the Chiefs is shocking. Mahomes has only suffered a loss like this a couple of other times in his seven year career as a starting quarterback in the NFL.

"Heartbroken, but so incredibly grateful.
We love this team and organization-from the executive level to every person who makes this football family what it is. The gratitude runs deep.
A special thank you to the people of New Orleans for their kindness and hospitality, and to all the fans, friends, and family who traveled to support us. I'm also thankful for those who worked tirelessly to ensure a safe and well-planned weekend.
Most of all, I am thankful for Jesus, who was glorified by players on both teams. Football is our business, and while winning is exhilarating, losing is painful. But if there's one thing I've learned, it's this: joy, contentment, and purpose cannot be found in trophies, victories, or anything this world offers-they can only be found in God. We all have a God-shaped hole in our hearts, and no earthly success can ever truly satisfy.
This life is short. We don't get to take Lombardi trophies or championship rings to Heaven. What we do get is the opportunity to use this platform to point others to our Savior. Our hope is in Him. HE gives purpose. HE satisfies. HE redeems. HE restores. And HE wins.
The Chiefs' future is bright, but our future in Jesus is even brighter."
May God always be your number 1 draft pick!
