Where Is My Mock Draft?

Thought for today...

The donkey and the elephant aren't helping. We must turn to the Lamb!

You might be wondering why I have not done a mock draft yet. There's a good reason. People have no idea who teams will draft in the first round until after free agency has been going on for a week or two. Any mock drafts from Mel Kiper, Todd McShay or anyone else is mostly an exercise for the fans' thirst for draft material. It cannot be expected to be very accurate. Let's say a team has pass rusher as it's overwhelmingly most pressing need. A mock drafter would likely put a pass rusher as the team's first round draft pick. Let's say that team signs Chandler Jones in free agency. He's one of the best pass rushers in the game today. That team is very unlikely to draft a pass rusher with their first pick.

I do have an excellent idea of what teams need going into free agency, so I'll try to give you that before free agency starts on March 16th.

May God always be your number 1 draft pick!
