Thought for today...
Need a lifeguard? Ours walks on water!
Here are some predictions for today's college games.
Alabama smashes Texas - Longhorn fans better enjoy ESPN's College GameDay because they won't be cheering much at noon.
Arkansas over South Carolina - It'll take a better effort than the two interception game from Spencer Rattler last week. The Gamecocks have a chance, but it's a slim one.
Wake Forest whips Vanderbilt - Normally, a game on the road against an SEC opponent is highly difficult to win. Vandy will put up a fight but not be able to pull off the upset.
NC State crushes Charleston Southern - We have games on ESPN and ESPN2. This one is on ESPN3. They should put it on ESPN103. Why in the world is this game broadcasted anywhere?
Clemson over Furman - It will rain in Clemson... all over Furman. Clemson needs to put up 50 to avoid fans' calls for Cade Klubnik to take over at QB.
Texas A&M gets defensive over App State - The Mountaineers put up 61 points last week... and lost to the Tar Heels. They will see a real defense this week.
Iowa plays Iowa State to a standstill - Iowa won last week 7-3 with two safeties and a field goal. Iowa State is a better team than South Dakota, so.... I'm thinking 5-3 Iowa.
Illinois edges Virginia - I should pick Virginia just because the Fighting Illini is about the stupidest team name ever invented. No imagination whatsoever.
Florida chomps Kentucky - This should be a good game. If Florida has a letdown, the Wildcats could sneak out a win.
Southern Cal over Stanford - New coach Lincoln Riley has brought a ton of offense to Southern Cal. Stanford has won a lot over the Trojans in the last several years, but I think that changes today in a reasonably close game.
May God always be your number 1 draft pick!
