Random College Picks for October 8

Here are some predictions for today's college games.

Michigan remains unbeaten against Indiana - The Wolverines will take a big bite out of the Hoosiers.

Mississippi State edges Arkansas - This should be a good one that could go either way. I like the offense of Mississippi State a little better than that of Arkansas.

LSU trips up Tennessee - The Vols are undefeated and favored in this game, but LSU is gaining more confidence as each week goes on, and it's hard to win in Baton Rouge.

TCU spoils GameDay at Kansas - ESPN College GameDay is at Kansas this week. Will the extra emotion from GameDay push the Jayhawks to a win? Maybe not.

Georgia handles Auburn - The Auburn versus Georgia game has historically been a great game, but the Tigers are down this year. Look for the Bulldogs to get back on track in a big way.

Utah whips unbeaten UCLA - The Bruins are flying high, and they have a good chance at home in this one, but the Utes are more battle tested.

Ohio State over Michigan State - The Buckeyes have no trouble with the Spartans.

Alabama smashes Texas A&M - I'm not sure if Alabama QB Bryce Young will play. If he does, Alabama will smash Texas A&M. If he doesn't, Alabama will still smash them!

Kentucky over South Carolina - The Gamecocks are only about a touchdown underdog because it's not looking great for Kentucky's starting quarterback to play due to a foot injury. The Gamecocks are used to warm weather, but it will drop into the 40's during this night game and freeze out South Carolina similarly to how it did Clemson in October, 1985.

Clemson beats Boston College - The Tigers should win easily, but past trips to BC have been much more of a struggle than expected with the last eight games averaging an eight point win for Clemson. Clemson will win, but maybe not by the expected three touchdowns.

May God always be your number 1 draft pick!
