Picking Winners for Week 9 in the NFL

Tennessee Titans at Pittsburgh Steelers Pittsburgh. Titans rookie QB Will Levis played great in his debut in the NFL with four TD passes last week. That was at home. This is Pittsburgh.

Miami Dolphins vs. Kansas City Chiefs in Frankfurt, Germany. Kansas City. I think the Dolphins stood almost an even chance until the Chiefs lost and looked bad last week. It rarely happens two weeks in a row.

Minnesota Vikings at Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta. New QB for both teams, one by choice and one by injury. The backup for the Falcons is Taylor Heinicke, and he ain't half bad.

Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers Green Bay. Matthew Stafford might not play with an injury. Otherwise, I would have taken the Rams.

Washington Commanders at New England Patriots New England. Both teams are dog sorry, but the Commanders just traded half of their defensive line, so they are dog sorrier!

Seattle Seahawks at Baltimore Ravens Baltimore. These are two pretty good teams. Lamar Jackson is playing at a very high level right now.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Houston Texans Houston. These two teams are about even if you ask me. Turnovers will probably decide it.

Chicago Bears at New Orleans Saints New Orleans. I would not pick the Bears over very many teams at home much less on the road.

Arizona Cardinals at Cleveland Browns Cleveland. I would not pick the Cardinals over very many teams at home much less on the road.

Indianapolis Colts at Carolina Panthers Indianapolis. I would not pick the Panthers over very many teams at home. Wait, they are at home. The Colts are one of those teams I would not pick them over.

Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles Philadelphia. The Eagles are just a more physical, grind it out team. I think that's what it will take to win this grudge match in Philly.

New York Giants at Las Vegas Raiders New York Giants. I hear the Raiders will start a rookie QB and bench Jimmy Garoppolo. That's probably not a great idea.

Buffalo Bills at Cincinnati Bengals Cincinnati. If this game had been played two weeks ago, I would have definitely picked the Bills. However, a lot has changed with Joe Burrow's health since then.

Los Angeles Chargers at New York Jets Los Angeles Chargers. The Jets have won some games on smoke and mirrors. I wouldn't put it past them to do it again, but I think the Chargers will win this one unless their head coach pulls yet another boneheaded stunt of going for it on 4th down in his own territory.

May God always be your number 1 draft pick!
